Letters land on a real chair, not a ticket queue. A writer reads every one and replies within a fortnight — sooner if you’ve caught us in a mistake.

Pick a channel, then write.
The channel decides who reads it first and how fast you hear back — and the channel panel follows your pick.

A few things worth knowing.
The questions that land at the desk most often, answered before you hit transmit.
How long until I hear back?
A fortnight at most, usually less. Corrections and press queries jump the line and get a faster reply.
Will you publish my letter?
Maybe — the sharp ones run in the next issue, under your name or initials, however you prefer. Tell us if it’s off the record and it stays off.
Do you take review copies or sponsorship?
Review copies, sometimes — they never buy a verdict or a deadline, and we say when one shaped a brief. Sponsorship, never.
I found a factual error in a brief.
Send it straight over. Corrections are dated in the open and credited to you, unless you’d rather stay anonymous.
Can you settle an argument for my group?
We’ll try, if it’s about how a system actually behaves. We won’t crown a winner, though — we don’t score.
Where does my message actually go?
Straight to a writer at the desk. No ticket queue, no bot, no auto-reply — the form and the inbox reach the same chair.
Sit in on the desk.
See how a brief crosses from the table to the page in six weeks, which rules never bend, and who argues every line on the way.
